2022 fantasy football draft kit: Rankings, sleepers, mock drafts, projections and more

Welcome to The Athletic‘s fourth annual fantasy football draft kit!

Here’s what you can expect to find in our preseason coverage of the upcoming fantasy football campaign (Note: If this type of “what to expect!” Previewing bores you, skip right down to the menu portion below!):

  1. Let’s start with a whole lot of Jake Ciely. With his elite expert accuracy track record (fun fact: when we asked him to send us an overview for this intro, he sent us a very large and detailed spreadsheet outlining his accomplishments dating back a decade), Jake has established himself as one of the top minds in fantasy football. And his mind can now be yours – just download his fully customizable cheat sheet, input your league settings and it’ll spit out a customized series of rankings and projections. Bonus: if you hate Jake, you can just tweak his projections to your liking and then run the spreadsheet for your rankings.
  2. We’re leaning more than ever on our best-in-class NFL beat and national writers. They have a ringside seat to all of the NFL’s on-the-field and off-the-field developments. Being able to tap into their insights is just another way we’re helping you get a leg up on your non-subscriber competition.
  3. Of course, you can count on our myriad of expert voices to weigh in on all things sleepers, busts and breakouts, in addition to ample offerings of advanced stat and strategy pieces. We have dynasty / keeper leaguers covered every which way, with Dynasty League Football guru Jeff Haverlack leading a charge that includes our go-to guy Ciely, scouting genius Brandon Howard, a dynasty trade chart from Alex Korff (aka u / peakedinhighskool on Reddit) and resident NFL draft expert Dane Brugler (check out his top college players to watch ahead of next year’s draft).

  12. We’re going to tap into Gene Clemons‘brain as much as possible, as he’s a brilliant Xs and Os mind with unique opinions that might have you re-considering some players. And Dominick Petrillo has already contributed a couple pieces this offseason!
